About me
Mari Kuno is a Japanese makeup artist based in London with 10 years of experience in the make up industry. Over the years she has developed a strong interest in the arts and fashion. When she was 15 years old, during high school, she discovered her love for fashion. During her time at high school she studied design, colour, pattern-making, sewing and knitting. After studying these subjects, she found a strong love for make up within the fashion industry.
Once graduating from fashion high school she moved to Tokyo where she studied at the Vantan Design Institute to expand her knowledge further. Tokyo was a great experience to develop herself further and put herself out of her comfort zone. Tokyo also helped Mari with forming new relationships and adapting to new environments quickly. During her studies, she began to work as an assistant, which helped provided her with skills and experience. Looking to develop and challenge herself further after graduating, she decided to move to London.
