About me
I'm a brazilian graphic designer, born and raised in Sao Paulo, where I trained in Visual Programming at the FAAP University. In 2007 I travelled to Europe searching for artistic inspiration. I completed a MA in Digital Arts at Rennes 2 University in Brittany, then I followed my heart to London. For the past four years I have been collaborating with my husband Mark as a landscape designer and continue working as a graphic designer independently. Please refer to my portfolio online: mariagill.co.uk
My practice combines different techniques passed on through design history with influences of the Modernist movement and design inherent within nature. Although I'm specialized in digital media, I share the same interest in creating graphics for printing.
