I'm a practising artist and an experienced photographer. My artistic practice involves research work, as well as working with people. I have organised exhibitions and public discussions.

As an artist I have to generate and develop artistic ideas, work in a studio and off-site, research and write about chosen themes, interview people, carry out administrative tasks, plan projects and create publicity - including writing press releases.
I also have to write project proposals for galleries, competitions or artist residencies, subsequently carry out financial planning - including creating and managing a budget.
Responsibilities also include carrying out self-promotion activities - including networking and attending private viewings and other events, liaise with contacts, gallery owners, curators and other artists, curate individual and group shows.
