About me

As a Portuguese fashion designer and illustrator, Maria João background gives her a unique insight into fashion and art. After spending five years studying Fine Arts in Oporto, she went to Rio de Janeiro to finish her degree. In 2008, she moved again to Oporto to study fashion design at the Fashion College Citex. She tends to start her work by experimenting with traditional processes such as painting, drawing, before designing the final image digitally.
