    Leadership Programme Officer
    The Climate Group is an award-winning, international non-profit, with the goal of a low carbon future. TCG believes this will be achieved through a ‘clean revolution’: the rapid scale-up of low carbon energy and technology. Tasks: • Assist in the project-management of the Future Agenda 2.0 project (FA), the world’s largest foresight programme. I liaise directly with FA team, organize and set up presentations and events and draft the project elevator pitch according to audience • Support the Leadership Programme, for which I carry out research from social media to policy papers, produce prospect leaders profiling and help building strategic partnerships • Assist in the organization of TCG participation in Business&Climate Summit taking place in Paris this May • Help mobilize a critical mass of active Leaders who can engage in increase awareness and understanding of TCG goal • Write for the TCG blog • Maintain TCG Leadership Workplan & Advocacy Database - Identify and attend parliamentary and other networking events in the field of energy to contribute to the intelligence gathering and reach of the team. • Main goal: Expand my understanding of the role of information management within an organization, grow further my ability to think strategically, to take initiative and to balance competing priorities and work under pressure to tight deadlines

    Cattaneo Zanetto&CO is the leading political intelligence, lobbying and political consulting firm in Italy, both for reputation and clients portfolio, based in Rome and Brussels Tasks: • Support the firm Energy’s practice on European, national and regional government issues, working closely with institutions such as Ministries, Senate and Chamber of Deputies • Legislative monitoring, political and policy analysis of energy dossiers on a European Union level, with particular focus on State Aid issues (with a focus on renewable energy schemes), Climate and Energy Package 2030 and Energy Efficiency Directive implementation into national legislation • Monitoring of legislative, regulatory and policy activity in the Energy industry in the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, as well as in the most relevant regions in Italy • Developing analysis reports, presentations and position papers on energy policy outlook at national and European level • Monitoring of energy policy contributions coming from the press • Profiling of stakeholders and drafting of lobbying and advocacy plans • Main goal: I often consulted companies on how to improve profitability through policy influence, to intercept risks showing great precision in independent research, accuracy in EU and national legislative analysis and zeal in finding windows of opportunity for policy change. The role helped me develop strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person and fostered my ability to work as a professional.
