  • Renovation of Scorpios restaurant on Mykonos island
    Renovation of Scorpios restaurant on Mykonos islandTook part in the refurbishment of the renowned Scorpios restaurant, 6000 m2 on Mykonos island (Greece). As part of the interior architects’ team, redesigned the interior and exterior spaces of the restaurant, focusing on bespoke furniture as the building structure was retained. Produced detailed specification sheets, bespoke furniture drawings and 3D models, and prepared a brief of the restaurant’s desired aesthetic for the production of visuals, to ensure the project’s quality to high standards

    Worked as project manager, alongside the directors on renovating residential projects in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Somerset. Emphasised on concept stage, spatial design and materials. Liaised daily with clients, engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Produced full packages of technical and detailed drawings, bespoke joinery, construction details and visuals. Travelled regularly on-site to oversee the different stages of construction and installations.     As part of the lead architects’ team, got involved in all stages of 5* Hotel design, till the delivery of tender drawings to the contractor. Based on the client’s brief, the island’s architecture and history developed the hotel’s concept, which flows throughout the hotel, creating a homogenous effect. Focused on spatial design of the guest rooms, restaurant/ bar, and lobby, taking into consideration the island’s micro-climate and hotel’s location. Created mood boards, presentations and material schemes of natural materials based on the client’s brief, and the project’s aesthetic approach. Liaised regularly with clients, hospitality consultants, commercial kitchen specialists, lighting designers, sound systems experts, HVAC engineers and suppliers. Produced specification sheets for bespoke joinery, detailed drawings and visuals. Led a team of three architects to produce detailed drawings and joinery drawings of the guest rooms. Travelled on-site to oversee the different stages of construction. Spearheaded research project gathering information about Star Hotels to include all relevant amenities, hospitality, and safety regulations to develop a business plan manual unique to clients’ needs. Translated documents/spreadsheets in English to cover international clients’ needs.
