About me
I am a Bristol-based and London-born Art Director & Graphic Designer and take inspiration from the exciting, if unconventional, route life has taken me down so far.
I specialise in cookery books and art direct entire publications: conception, moodboards, cover design, layout design, photoshoot art direction, prop sourcing, prop styling, colour correction and preparing final files for print.

Projects
- Aphorism PostcardsThese aphorisms are part of a project focusing on typography and type classification. I redesigned 4 cards from the School of Life aphorisms set, and I also added 4 more to make sure that women were being fairly represented! I duplexed the cards onto purple and green card (700 GSM) as a subtle nod to the sufragette movement.
- London Gang Territories & Teenage MurdersOver the past decade 183 teenagers have been murdered (accurate as of November 2015). The map correlates London's most notorious street gangs with the precise location of these murders. The colours denote how each child was murdered. This project is a work in progress as I am currently documenting the names and ages of every teenager on this map. I believe that they should be more than just dots, they should be named.

I have been working as an English teacher for the past 5 years. In most positions I have done much design work, time-permitting.
Graphic Designer

My Head Chef partner opened a restaurant while we lived in Australia and I created the website, branding, and all literature for the new establishment. The passion I experienced working on this project is what led me to pursue graphic design as a full-time career.
