Esoteric Screen Printing is a Guildford based DIY screen printing service catering for any number of customers who need various items screen printed including t-shirts, jumpers, bags, posters etc. We sell screen printed apparel which is produced by ourselves, designed by our customers or ourselves. I am incharge of talking to clients and discussing designs with them. Ordering in new stock and general studio manager. Customer serice with clients, I’d adjust designs on Adobe Photoshop for them, ready for printing. I would set up and prep screens, print and sell screen printed apparel and merchandise which is produced and hand printed by ourselves. Purchasing the stock and material needed to complete orders.
In-store retail creative. In charge of all creative and aesthetic directions within the store, I work hard with my team to focus on the best ways to promote the brand within the store with new builds, art layers and designs. I design, build and install the merchandise displays in the Urban Outiftters location in Guildford. This includes the main window displays, as well as other fixtures, lighting elements, and all other means of showcasing Urban Outfitters products.
Consultant of branding and graphic design. Designed packaging, branding and toy manufacturing. Creating concepts for new ideas of toys based on previous success and mapping current trends and demographics. My job was to deal with any creative aspects of the company.
I was taken on by the Reading Chronicle newspaper as an in-house graphic designer. In that time I was specially working with affiliated companies to design adverts for them that would be printed in the newspaper. This meant me working with very tight deadlines. I also designed a huge bulk of the output involved with any creative side of the newspaper.
I was taken on as an Assistant Artworker for the studio. This meant I dealt with various different briefs varying from print to corporate and digital designs. I also dealt with various admin at the studio as well.
My responsibilities were to help with the venues creative promotional output and update the website, this meant designing creating promotional content for the companies website and promotional print outputs. I also helped assist with promoting and managing the shows at the venue. This meant helping curate events, management and organisation of events. I would alsovwrite up contracts for bands and external promoters, updating the companies database for promoters and artists.
I worked back of house at the music venue. I took on most of the creative responsibilities of the company by designing all print output which was promotional flyers and leaflets for the venue and updating the website, also their social networking sites. I was assistant to the events manager, this meant helping curate events, management and organisation of events. During my time there I would write up contracts for bands and external promoters, updating the companies database for promoters and artists.
My responsibilities as Concessions Manager included ordering and managing new stock and generally in charge of the shoe department at the store. My main duties were to manage stock levels of all concession items. To manage the concessions sale area to keep up with recent chances in sale items. Dealing with a team of staff and working together to get deadlines done. I took many responsibilities in dealing with the care and management of the shop ?oor including doing range plans and managing staff members duties.
