DUBLIN-BORN AND EDUCATED IN HISTORY OF ART AT TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN, I HAVE OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE CREATIVE AND ART DIRECTING FASHION AND LIFESTYLE BRANDS INCLUDING THE LAUNCH AND SCALE OF MY FASHION LABEL TO OVER 50 MARKETS INTERNATIONALLY. A SELF TAUGHT DESIGNER, DIRECTOR AND PHOTOGRAPHER, I RECENTLY EXPANDED THE SCOPE OF MY CREATIVE INTO DOCUMENTARY FILM. BA(Hons) Italian and History of ArtTrinity College Dublin
An arts degree at any Trinity university is 4 rather than 3 years meaning that you major in one subject. I majored in History of Art completing a full masters length thesis on The Etiquette of Dress in Victorian Art - I know at that point that I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry so I steered my final year of education in that direction. At uni I read Dante, Petrarch, Michelangelo in Italian and in History of Art I specialised in 19th century realism as well as renaissance and baroque art.
