Starting my career in fashion buying for House of Fraser, I moved on to launch my own fashion label Bitching and Junkfood which I ran for six years together with my best friend and business partner. I started the brand from a warehouse in Hackney Wick with £5K and scaled it to a global label stocked in over 50 countries worldwide. Key stockists included Topshop, ASOS, Urban Outfitters and a whole host of concept stores including Hong Kong's On Peddar and Lane Crawford. I headed up the creative direction, e-commerce and entire digital presence from social media to blog. We counted Rihanna, Rita Ora, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding as well as a whole host of other female performers amongst our fans. As the business scaled I felt increasingly removed from creative so we decided to sell the brand and I went on to pursue a freelance career in my true passions - creative direction/direction and photography. I now work with a whole host of brands consulting broadly on all things creative. I have an extensive network of creative contacts across all fields that I pull in on jobs as required and I excel at identifying the best creatives to collaborate with. I direct music videos, have just started to direct TV commercials and am in development on my first documentary short. I'm also shooting fashion photography again.Locked Pro Plan feature

My previous fashion brand and work in music videos have a very different aesthetic that so I separated this out work into something that visually represented the values I stand for. An arts degree at any Trinity university is 4 rather than 3 years meaning that you major in one subject. I majored in History of Art completing a full masters length thesis on The Etiquette of Dress in Victorian Art - I know at that point that I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry so I steered my final year of education in that direction. At uni I read Dante, Petrarch, Michelangelo in Italian and in History of Art I specialised in 19th century realism as well as renaissance and baroque art.
