About me
INTERDISCIPLINARY FASHION AND DOCUMENTARY FILM-MAKER/PHOTOGRAPHER LIVING BETWEEN LONDON AND DUBLIN. DUBLIN-BORN AND EDUCATED IN HISTORY OF ART AT TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN, I HAVE OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE CREATIVE AND ART DIRECTING FASHION AND LIFESTYLE BRANDS INCLUDING THE LAUNCH AND SCALE OF MY FASHION LABEL TO OVER 50 MARKETS INTERNATIONALLY. A SELF TAUGHT DESIGNER, DIRECTOR AND PHOTOGRAPHER, I RECENTLY EXPANDED THE SCOPE OF MY CREATIVE INTO DOCUMENTARY FILM. I seek the beauty in the benign, the light in the darkness and strive to tell stories from a place of compassion. Approaching projects with questions an curiosity, I aspire to develop work that questions the status quo, examines the foundations of society and fosters new perspectives through shared human experience. My aim is to unearth the overlooked, the inaccessible and the unseen with aesthetics informed by my production design/styling and fashion experience. 2020 saw three short pieces premiere on Nowness, Dazed Digital and Wonderland. January the 6th saw the launch of a campaign I directed around coercive control for charity Safe Ireland. My work has been featured in countless magazines including Vogue, Vice, Elle US, Vogue, Dazed and Confused, and 10 Magazine. I'm also a trained yoga teacher and actively work to encourage and support the health and mental wellbeing with those I work with.

Horse Fair, Ballinasloe, Ireland - Documentary Photography ProjectBallinasloe horse fair is the largest horse fair in Ireland and the oldest horse fair in Europe. It attracts breeders from all across Ireland from both traveller and settled cultures with Britain providing much of the trade. An arts degree at any Trinity university is 4 rather than 3 years meaning that you major in one subject. I majored in History of Art completing a full masters length thesis on The Etiquette of Dress in Victorian Art - I know at that point that I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry so I steered my final year of education in that direction. At uni I read Dante, Petrarch, Michelangelo in Italian and in History of Art I specialised in 19th century realism as well as renaissance and baroque art.
