  • Installation Evolution (Idea developement and Collage)
Installation Evolution (Idea developement and Collage)After a brief: Following the different materials in order to create an installation. However, don't come up with an idea, make the project evolve gradually. First step was about deconstructing a card box in order to create shapes, spaces and inside/outside mix. Second step was dotting every intersections of a chosen picture of the box and linking them back again and again in order to create different shapes that could inspire us. On the second photograph, after a few times, I ended up with the red shapes with I reproduced with wire. I then linked those pieces together to create a 3D model. Final step was creating a final model and find a purpose and a location. I created this model which is supposed to be on suspension over a public area. Thanks to pieces of transparent and reflective materials it creates shapes on the floor and a shield for people to protect them against rain or sun. By protecting themselves they are creating shapes on the floor. (Inspiration by Francis Alys). Model made in foam board, transparent green plastic sheet and reflective gold plastic sheet.
