About me

My name is Marisa Devonshire and I am an illustrator currently based in Carlisle, Cumbria. My work is hand drawn and painted with acrylic inks. Some things about me: I can’t go for too long without having spending some time in nature. I talk to the cows in the park as I cycle past. I think we all need to join together to help save this lovely planet we’re on. Clients include: Oh Comely Magazine University of Cumbria Students Union

• Oh Comely Magazine - Issue 38Lovely project combining pattern design and illustration to weave story eliments into the patern.
• Jaguar and Capybara Wallpaper DesignThe idea for this pattern came from a previous project about domestic cats hunting garden birds. I wanted to create a beautiful pattern which involved a narrative and had a unexpected theme.
