I’m Mark Astle, and I’m a photographer. I’ve been doing this for more than 10 years, for clients like Dyson, Nike, NPower, Holiday Inns and Foot Locker. Before that, I spent the same time as an art director at some great agencies.
I’ve picked up a few things along the way. Having an eye for a decent picture is part of it. As well as the technical skill to make outstanding images in all kinds of environments, from the back of a chip shop to the heart of Milan. And most important, an understanding of what people are looking for from a photographer.
Proper pictures. Images that are not only visually arresting, but really work in the commercial world.
