About me

Call me MC for short. I grew up in Singapore since I was 5 and have grown up with different cultures and views all around me. This has greatly influenced how I work with film and media and has inspired me to look at everything in a different light. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, especially when it comes to my work, but sometimes that's a good thing. I love working with like-minded people. Based in London. Looking for new, fun and challenging work all the time! I own a RED Scarlet W and am comfortable shooting on all RED cameras as well as Canon Cinema cameras and Arri Alexas. Anything I am not 100% on I am willing to learn and I am a fast learner when it comes to film making because it's something I love.

• INNOCENT COLOURSA personal project, there was a carnival at Marina Bay in Singapore, so my girlfriend and I went and I brought my new camera equipment with me to make a film.
• Vixen V II - Ft. Graphite ClothingThis was the first Vixen V that had a partnership with a brand. I partnered with a local clothing brand back in Singapore called Graphite Clothing. They had been growing on social media, particularly Instagram, so I reached out to them and asked if they wanted to collaborate. I then roped my influencer friend into the production and here we are. • LEVIS - THE TAILORED EXPERIENCEWork I did for Levis in San Francisco, showing off their tailoring store, the only one of two in the US that has their own tailoring process that creates bespoke jeans and jackets from start to finish.
• SBR Track Days Advert - Sepang RacewayAn advert I made for a Motorsport company back in Singapore. They sell Motorbikes and also ran track days at the Moto GP racetrack in Sepang, Malaysia.

I graduated with a 2:1 from Solent University in Southampton. I don't let the grade define me, because part of the grade comes from writing essays, and I haven't ever had to write an essay for a single film job yet, have you? It was a good experience. I got to use professional gear, an Arri Alexa Mini, and other fun toys. I learned to work in a professional environment, what roles do what, and how to use a variety of equipment.
