  • In partnership with Bain Consulting and Media/Creative agency FRWD, worked with multiple Marketing Directors/CMO's to lead test and learn projects aimed at improving marketing mix modelling, assessing marketing technology to deliver real-time marketing. Working for leading CPG /retail brands including the largest European beauty retailer, Douglas GMBH, I created an execution plan in their largest region, Germany. The projects involved developing a build, operate, transfer model aimed at reviewing and developing an execution strategy for improvements to the digital marketing stack (DMP/DSP audience insight tools), CRM, E-commerce, performance marketing and Social teams and channels to create a single more efficient methodology using a series of test designs focused on sales uplift, ROI and Conversion against a customer lifecycle. Key Accomplishments: " Lead workshops for creating new digital concepts and marketing mix modelling to be executed across a selection of 300 stores resulting in generating 30 ideas across two phases. " Provided a measurable framework for doing a test and learn approach using detailed reporting scorecards/media plans and segmentation models that can then be applied to improve performance marketing efficiency and effectiveness and sales uplift. " Manage the re-integration of digital marketing teams to an omni-channel approach working to a single customer lifecycle model to improve overall customer lifetime value. " Assist on the creation of a new pricing strategies focused on analysing purchase behaviour/basket segmentation for CRM to compete against Amazon and Sephora entering DE market. " Manage the process of assessment and building of business cases for the media technology stack across all markets looking at integration of key data and service platforms/tools/technologies to move towards a more real-time market model mix. This also included the creation of a Media Ad network to leverage customer data for partner brands.

  • Headhunted by private equity business to become founding member of a 60-man start-up where I led the creation and execution of product strategies to build a mobile messaging marketplace SaaS platform that was successfully integrated into a top 6 global telco's digital transformation project for Vimpelcom to Veon. Was also responsible for the creation of Go to Market playbooks which were executed and successfully launched as part of soft and commercial launches in 5 concurrent geographies. Introduced, industrialised and implemented a global development and delivery program for partnership engagement as part of a marketplace platform strategy across content, music and digital services. Key Accomplishments: " Lead the strategy and implementation of a new internet platform overseeing transformation programmes related to alignment of business cases across key verticals such as consumer and brand value propositions for the product platform. " Asked by Chairman to oversee the re-band of corporate group to the same brand as the new messaging platform Veon " Proficiently delivered audience goals as part of a growth team which combined marketing, product and data analytics to drive monthly active usage targets of the digital product at 24M+ users worldwide by 2017.

  • As Regional digital lead for the largest region of a top 5 advertising network I successfully led and executed improvements to regional digital operations resulting in a 12% improvement in digital revenue, was commissioned by regional President as trouble-shooter/digital lead on numerous global clients (including Coke, Nespresso, L'Oreal, Chevrolet, Nestle, Beko, Intel, US Postal Service, Telecom Italia, MasterCard, SafariCom and others) focused on improving results in digital marketing and sustainable digital strategies and created and managed a consultancy practice focused on the mobile industry that recognised opportunities for digital platform enablement leveraging data and the mobile ecosystem, which resulted in driving improvements across marketing, data, content development, social and user experience. Key Accomplishments: " Directed the digital operations for the EMEA region, with responsibilities in managing digital in over 15 markets with revenue of over $60M, by collaborating with the chief information officer, implementing and adapting new technologies, meeting ambitious company business targets, and improving customer service. " Drove an increase in new digital projects which led to a share of revenue that was digital to increase to 22%; an improvement of 12% on previous year's growth to become the leading region in the network for digital. " Established, and steered a digital trends program which included client tours at key global technology events, and involved executive and board level engagement from brands such as Coke, US Postal Service and L'Oreal. " Chosen by regional president to fix crises with major global clients Nespresso and Chevrolet resulting in rebuilding and managing their integrated digital teams, getting strategies and campaign performance back on track and earning confidence of the client. This resulted in avoiding a client putting business up for review and commissioning the first ever automotive branded content project in partnership with Google content creators. " Led a global holding company procurement exercise for digital marketing tools which led to cutting in half duplication of tools and savings in annual fees of $3m.
