Half awake, Half asleep, 2019Solo-show at Projektrum Vera, Copenhagen (DK). Installation views
  • Erased, 2018
Erased, 2018Sculpture (photographs printed on dibond, concrete base), 350 x 110 x 5 cm. A site-specific sculpture designed for the Middelheim Museum, an open-air sculpture park in Antwerp, approaches the theme of the human figure omnipresent in the collection of the museum. Rethinking the ancient sculptures that lost their body parts in time, the headless statue gives a contemporary interpretation to the classics.
  • Untitled, 2017
Untitled, 2017Mixed media (photography printed on textile, wires, concrete), ambient size. A research about the equilibrium between two different elements: the feminine and fragile opposed to the masculine and strength. The print is hanging throw blue wires attached to the walls. Due to the semi-transparency of the material, the face can be seen from behind.
  • Untitled, 2018
Untitled, 2018Sculpture (photographs printed on forex, metal), 180 cm x 55 cm x 3 cm. A metal structure captures the elements of the street giving an imaginary set of city life. The loneliness of the citizen is caught in a structure that reminds the typical assembly kit of childhood.
  • Untitled, 2018
Untitled, 2018Sculpture (photograph printed on forex), 180 cm x 55 cm x 3 cm, installation view. A human-size sculpture represents a man standing alone at an angle. His body is ideally erased by the transparency of Photoshop. The pattern materializes the transparency.
  • Untitled, 2017
Untitled, 2017Sculptures (photographs printed on dibond, wood base, ruler), installation view. The project studies the shift in the perception of the space due to the technological devices which make a distinction between the virtual distance and the physical one.

Finalist of Young Artist Prize 2018Middelheim Museum
Middelheim Promotors organized a creative competition for outdoor art with the support of Delen Private Bank and the King Baudouin Foundation. By doing so, they wish to support young talent and promote the creation of an artwork. It is therefore a proposal for an original work that can be realized after the selection within a period of 5 months. All visual artists, younger than 30 who live in Belgium, were allowed to participate in this competition. Selected as one of the three finalists, my sculpture is now exhibited in the sculpture park.
