About me

Hi, I am Marta! I would like to work in the film industry. I am aspiring to work in the camera department, so I am looking to gain as much work experience as possible. I have experience working on film sets, ranging from live studio productions to narrative short film productions, even documentary productions. Primarily, I work as 1AC and second assistant camera. I have also worked as a lighting technician and gaffer. Currently, I am attending a Filmmaking Course at the University of West England in Bristol. I am a flexible, creative, and hard worker person. I am based in Bristol but happy to travel anywhere.

Every August a team of UWE Film students trade to South Africa to capture footage and edit short films to help Project Zulu communicate its work and convey its messages to a wider audience. Teams of eight are led by tutors with industry backgrounds, moving between partnership schools, interviewing participants and filming the sites and sounds of the townships. Their work can be seen on this website and on PZ social media. I was covering the role of Sound Recorder, Camera Operator and Editor.
