I am the Editor of It's Freezing in LA, an independent magazine about climate change.
This is a multi-disciplinary magazine printing diverse writing and illustrations on green issues sold across the world. We cut across traditional activist and scientific environmental media to produce beautiful magazines exploring detailed ideas about the climate crisis.
As Editor and Founder, I commission articles, develop content and run events and collaborations. I have detailed understanding of the financial and legal requirements of running a magazine, being responsible for the management of the project as well as its direction.
I am trained as a Civil and Environmental Engineer. My work on public and environmental infrastructure projects gives me a strong insight into the technical requirements of environmental change, and a structured, creative approach to design and communication.

Education
Master of EngineeringUniversity of Cambridge
Cambridge, United Kingdom
I graduated with a degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2017. My Masters thesis focussed on geotechnical engineering, looking at the failure of suction caissons as foundations for offshore wind turbines.
Other modules of interest included Dynamics in Civil Engineering, Structural Steelwork and Plate & Shell Structures. I wrote numerous essays and reports challenging the role of engineers - including on ways for Water Engineers to support women in areas with limited public infrastructure, and on collaborative projects between artists and engineers.
