About me

An experienced, freelance Production Coordinator/Junior Production Manager with a number of recent credits on television documentaries and documentary-series for Channel 5 UK, BBC World News and Channel News Asia, the pan-Asian, Singapore-based network. Additional experience as a Production Manager on a one-off documentary for Channel News Asia and as an Edit Facility Production Manager at a number of Laureus World Sports Awards and Alfred Dunhill Links Championships. My roles have involved supporting the production management, editorial and post-production teams from pre-production through to delivery. Tasks include sourcing and contracting crew, setting-up shoots, clearing archive, managing changes in schedule and being the main point of contact between the editorial team and the post-production house to keep channels of communication open and to immediately tackle any issues that may arise. As part of programme delivery I have coordinated and carried out the completion and submission of all paper deliverables. Aside from my production specific tasks I have also provided general administrative support to the company directors and core team, such as scheduling meetings, writing up company policy documents, proof-reading pitches, contracts, policy documents and external company communications and sourcing and distributing materials from the company's archive, as well as idea development and writing up pitches. My experience has equipped me with the vital skills needed for television and film production, such as independent thinking, team work, time management, task prioritisation and analytical thinking and problem solving. My enjoyment of film and television has provided me with the drive to keep embarking upon new challenges and to continuously learn new skills.
