I oversee the copy development for global brand initiatives at Levi's, which includes managing a team of copywriters, building creative strategy toolkits for our regional offices around the world, and orchestrating dozens of brand campaigns each year.
I managed a team of ecommerce marketing copywriters, editing and approving editorial copy on nordstrom.com, including multi-deliverable campaigns, landing pages, style guides, trend reports, lookbooks, brand profiles, emails and ads. This involved partnering with creative directors, designers, marketers, merchandisers, project managers and social media specialists to create compelling, customer friendly, sales-driven experiences.
I was the lead copywriter for our designer, contemporary, weddings and multidivisional online experiences, including the launch campaigns for Alexander Wang, Topshop and Proenza Schouler on Nordstrom.com. I also attended New York Fashion Week to photograph and review shows for the Nordstrom blogs, in addition to covering other industry events. On a daily basis, I wrote trend reports, style guides, lookbooks, brand profiles and other editorial features for nordstrom.com, working with design, development, production, marketing and merchandising.
I provided overall creative direction for three regional wedding magazines: Minnesota Bride, Arizona Bride and Wisconsin Bride. This entailed overseeing roughly 60 contract writers, stylists and photographers, as well as an in-house designer, web editor and interns. I managed editorial and production schedules and budgets; conceptualized and edited photo shoots; assigned, wrote and edited copy; attended industry events representing the magazines; and spoke on camera, stage and radio to promote the magazines' endeavors.
I wrote and edited monthly fashion-, beauty- and shopping-related articles and features, working with the editorial, art, sales, production and circulation departments. I also conceptualized, edited and styled photo shoots; attended New York Fashion Week and other industry events representing the magazine; and maintained a blog on metromag.com.
I wrote four to five stories per week covering fashion, shopping and the arts; created slideshows and videos to coincide with feature articles; and maintained a weekly blog.
