    Work PlacementCreative Manchester
     - Manchester, United KingdomInternship
I have marketed several projects for Creative Manchester as part of a work placement. I ran the publicity for Sir Peter Bazalgette’s inaugural lecture as well as a poetry competition run on Twitter, championed by Lemn Sissay. I wrote copy for these events for The University of Manchester website and Eventbrite and ran the marketing on Twitter and Facebook, in accordance with the style guidelines of their brand. I gained lots of experience with SEO and marketing principles and monitoring Twitter analytics to maximise my campaigns.

I have worked as a copy-editor on two projects with The Future Society. I edited policy reports for The World Bank and the 2019 Global AI Conference, both of which sought to secure the future of developing countries within rapidly evolving systems of Artificial Intelligence. Throughout my editing I was responsible for producing a well-written, dynamic report and establishing a unifying voice across several different authors.
