About me
I am a young artist, focusing predominantly on dance and movement and a large interest in film. I have been training in hip hop culture and “street dance” for little over ten years and started my journey dancing in Boy Blue’s “mini blues” at the age of seven and through the years has slowly worked his way into the adult company. Through my journey at Boy Blue I met Jordan “JFunk” whom I began to learn Krump from and later became my mentor through dance, further challenging me, expanding and developing my training, and guiding me in the direction I wanted to go. This then lead to me becoming a core member of Y.O.U Collective which is an international group of dancers that are versed in both performance and freestyle dance. I also went on to study four years at the BRIT school, learning the foundations of Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz, which I have taken on to further develop my movement and artistry. I have travelled to numerous countries to assist and teach, and performed with artist such as Little Simz. I was also recently involved in a massive project, opening up the new space for Manchesters “aviva studios: factory international” in its opening show “Free Your Mind: The Matrix Now” in which I worked with legendary choreographer Kenrick “H2O” Sandy MBE, director Danny Boyle, Composer and Producer “Mikey J” Asante and set designer Ez Devlin. This was a massive opportunity that I learned priceless lessons from and greatly inspired me.
