About me
Masha Egieva is a film writer, director, and producer. Her first short film, comedy-drama “All Souls’ Day” (2020), co-funded by the Oxford University Filmmaking Foundation and Wolfson College, Oxford, was selected for several festivals, including Rome Short FF, Tokyo Short FF, and Venice Shorts (USA). She is currently in in pre-production for her second short film as a writer-director “Saint Vassily”, developed with Script Compass.   In 2022, Masha was a first-time producer on “Olive” (2023), winner of Genera Films grant. Passionate about female-led stories, Masha went on to produce “Malkin” (2023), Rachel Harper who boasts half-a-million Tik-Tok subscribers. Currently in post-production, both films were produced with Reformation Films, a company Masha founded in 2022.   Prior to embarking on a freelance career in film, Masha honed her editing skills as a Content Editor at an award-winning digital agency Little Dot Studios. Masha is a graduate from a BA in Art History at UCL and a Master’s in Film Aesthetics at the University of Oxford.
