I’m an outgoing and diligent final year student of BA Film that can cope in a fast-paced and busy environment with great impersonal and networking skills, gained through several years of experience in customer service and in my film and media studies. I have also had to help produce and direct short independent films while liaising with clients. At Middlesex University, I have worked in many different departments as I'm aspiring to work hard and eventually become a director of photography. So working in nearly every department has given me a well-rounded understanding of the duties and responsibilities each department has, which, I feel has been one of the most pivotal and important parts of my journey. Since this has provided me with a vast range of experience and has improved my interpersonal skills such as organisation, person-to-person management, communication, planning, adaptability, and problem-solving. In regards to industry experience outside of my studies, I’ve filmed and edited podcasts for Pulse 88 Radio Station, conducted a photo shoot for an independent clothing brand called Chasing Elizabeth and I am currently a cameraman & editor for The KingShip Studios as well as a production assistant, co-editor & co-social media strategist for The Queenship Podcast. I was also a part of two successfully crowdfunded projects working as a DP in one and as a 1st AD in the more recent project out of the two and I’ve also worked as a production runner, spark & extra for the IDA Rose Productions Company on the last two episodes of a 5 episode drama called The Underground. As for my technical skills, I have edited using Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Pro Tools. I have also filmed using multiple cameras from the Canon EOS DSLR series, Canon C series, and Sony A7s series and I have also captured audio using Zoom F8, Zoom H4N Recorder, and Shotgun Microphones on boomsticks. I also have experience and an understanding of basic programs such as Word and Excel, which has made me confident in creating spreadsheets and documents in these programs.
