My name is Matt, and I am a Motion Graphic Designer, with over ten years of experience within the design industry.
Most recently I have been working in the film and game industry. Working within these industries for the past eight years has allowed me to work for a wide range of high profile clients creating motion graphics for AAA games, feature films as well as TV/Cinema spots and other digital formats.
Currently, I'm learning Houdini and am learning Substance Designer in my free time. I believe it is essential to always to be learning.
I have a wide range of experience on different platforms of advertising. These works include:
In-game Assets, 3D Motion Graphics, VR, AR Design, Digital Out of Home, TV/Cinema spots, Title Styles, Opening Title Sequences and Storyboarding.

- BLOCK FIENDSo at the start of lockdown I created a condensed slab style display typeface called "BlockFiend" I'm still fussing about with it but thought this was a bit of fun. It's intentionally a bit jarring as I think that's just what I was digging at the time! The typeface will be available for download soon and the 3D renders was created by my good friend Mat Spendlove (check out his stuff it's awesome)
- Instagram AR Filter | HIX RestaurantsStudio Labyrinth utilised an Augmented reality filter to help drive brand awareness of HIX's restaurant venues in London and Dorset during the festive period. Created in Spark AR, the filter enabled users to add HIX branding to their Instagram story videos while at one of the restaurants or as a filter to tag and invite their friends for a dining experience.2
