    SoapboxWHAT IS RED BULL SOAPBOX RACE? Red Bull Soapbox Race is an international event in which amateur drivers race homemade soapbox vehicles. Each hand-made machine is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull. This unique, non-motorised racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race. Red Bull has held more than forty soapbox races around the world since the first one in Brussels in the year 2000 – from Australia to South Africa, Helsinki to St. Louis, Jamaica to Italy. Over the years, vehicles have ranged from realistic replicas to anything the imagination can conjure up. Previous designs have included a piano, a giant baby carriage, a rodeo clown, a massive corn on the cob, a jail cell and the Golden Gate Bridge. HOW TEAMS WILL BE JUDGED TEAMS WILL BE JUDGED ON THREE CRITERIA... SPEED Sorry to state the obvious but this event is, first and foremost, a race! So the fastest one across the finish line is definitely going to be looked upon favourably. CREATIVITY Finishing first doesn’t mean you’ll automatically win. Speed is nothing without a little personality. Okay, scratch that, a lot of personality! SHOWMANSHIP Racers will also need to wow us with their stage routine, dazzle us with their showmanship, impress us with their soapbox design and, of course make it to the finish line.

Both were required to be made up of several standard format banners, but to carry one creative message through each execution.     Red Bull Culture Clash 2014Red Bull Culture Clash saw four of the world’s biggest crews go head to head in a night of bass-driven warfare, with specially-formed collective Rebel Sound (Chase & Status and Rage, Shy FX and David Rodigan) taking the crown and seeing off reigning champions Boy Better Know, A$AP Mob and Stone Love in one of music’s heaviest battles.

    I am responsible for and manage 250 of the top bars and clubs in Birmingham and the West Midlands. • I work with each account independently, selecting appropriate sales driving tools to increase customer profit margin i.e. bespoke artwork, coolers and bar visibility. • I independently create joint business plans a year in advance with venues, in line with their focuses and priorities. • I have the autonomy and have been highly successful in making five-figure investments in nationally known accounts and clients i.e. Digbeth Dining Club, Hare and Hounds and what was The Rainbow involving tying in these clients to contracts for two year periods. • I support client events with my own marketing and event budget and ideas. I use Red Bull tools and work with the wider company on events, encompassing a 360 degree approach, i.e. using our Red Bull Sports and Student teams. • Social media support – I invest in boosting posts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to encourage footfall in venues and advertising new products, concepts and local events. • Festival management – I invest in, sign contracts and set up festivals and University Graduation Balls in my region i.e. Lunar Festival, Pride, Birmingham University Grad Ball, Mostly Jazz Festival and Simmer Down.
