About me
If you are looking for someone with experience both in web technologies and television, I have many years experience at bridging the gap between linear and non-linear storytelling.
Having started my career as a freelance designer and illustrator, i contracted for various companies, before becoming a full-time designer for one of the world's largest news companies; over my 6 years there I developed ways to assist web and TV journalists in storytelling - from data visualisations and infographics to daily illustrations and title sequences. I left my role as Senior Designer in 2012.
Recently I have been working with a new film company producing programmes for BBC, Channel 5 and corporate clients as Head of Digital. I have been developing ways to make interactive documentaries and second screen experiences in modern web technologies - whilst providing detailed 3D models and overseeing animations for use in the TV documentaries they produce.
