About me
A thoughtful, passionate design leader with over 20 years of experience delivering successful projects and products with leading in-house teams, agencies and clients on TV, mobile and web.
I believe in trust and autonomy in my team and my role as an enabler of the design process. I have managed and built successful collaborative teams capable of framing complex problems, and created inspiring human-centred solutions — using a blend of research, creativity, empathy, systems thinking (and tenacity).
For the past 6 and a half years I worked at Sky, joining as a Design Lead on the team that created Sky Q. I left as Head of Design having built and led the Product Design team responsible for many of Sky’s consumer facing products — Sky Q, Sky Go, Sky+ and Sky Kids — across the UK and Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria.
Previously I have led teams that defined and delivered the award winning TV platform, YouView; kickstarted (and later, evolved) the BBC’s Global Visual Language that became known as GEL; and designed O2’s Blue Dawn visual design language.
