I assist the Publicity team with our press campaigns, as well as collating press data and liaising with journalists who would like to collaborate with our roster. I have learnt an incredible amount since starting here, particularly in the newfound respect that I have for musicians from a range of genres; having worked on campaigns for Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne, Rita Ora, Stormzy, as well as many who aren’t from the pop sector.

I have regularly contributed to a range of online media outlets with articles, reviews and collaborative features. I was a frequent contributor to The Indiependent blog, before being approached by new publication Riot Magazine, with whom I have interviewed acts such as Wolf Alice, Peace and Sea Girls, as well as conducting multiple reviews. I held an editorial role at UAL’s student magazine, Artefact, where I also produced many features.

I enjoyed learning about a range of topics within Journalism, particularly multimedia disciplines and sociological pieces. I tailored a great deal of my degree, however, towards music and I wrote my dissertation on the role of music critics & cultural gatekeepers within society.
