About me
If it involves words, you should involve me. I've been a national newspaper and magazine journalist; a PR Director heading up accounts in a variety of consumer-facing industries; a ghostwriter and a copywriter. Sometimes all at once. I started my working life in the toughest newsrooms, turning around polished copy to tight deadlines at national newspapers. I co-wrote a national showbiz column for 18 months, which involved glitzy parties, major events and worldwide travel. It also gave me the ability to operate on so little sleep that I could comfortably sail through to the final of SAS: Who Dares Wins while still thinking I'd had a lie in. Over the years my words have appeared on the hallowed pages of ShortList, FHM, the Daily Mirror, The Sun, The Express, Daily Star, Sunday People, Best, Closer, more!, Nuts, The Fly and many more. I co-founded the Cult PR & Management in 2009 and worked alongside some of the biggest brands and publications in the UK during ten brilliant, stressful and occasionally bizarre years. We opened Tower Bridge so we could sail a pirate ship up the River Thames; walked an animatronic dinosaur around London; filmed people trying to read a horror book on a rollercoaster; sent a fleet of supercars down Regent Street in front of nearly 500,000 people; opened the world's first ever Bunny Spa and hosted 450 events in a month as part of the London Evening Standard Food Month. The 'ghost' part of ghostwriting means I can't tell you too much about that, but it involved Sir Michael Caine, Bill Wyman, Sidney Poitier, Dame Joan Collins and a lot of stories I couldn't commit to print. If that tickles your literary tastebuds, then let's talk.
