About me

I have been a freelance writer for 24 years. In that time I have written mainly comedy for radio, and TV. Amongst the comedians and performers I’ve collaborated with are Joan Rivers, Lenny Henry, Al Murray, Jimmy Carr and Steve Coogan. I have written for Private Eye (the joke pages) and I recently wrote an episode of Danger Mouse for CBBC. I have also written adverts for Nokia and Creation Records. Other skills involve being a guest course leader on a residential Arvon Comedy Writing Week. I have also lectured at Salford University on comedy and stand-up. I am a specialist speech writer.
