My background in sculpture and passion for new media collide to tell human-centered stories through interactive experiences, brand/product design, motion graphics, UI/UX, and strategic service journeys across digital and physical touchpoints.     X+OThe project kicked off with a workshop to lock down the name of the app and the visual guidelines that would apply to both physical and digital touchpoints. The workshop was informed by a survey we ran with 26 teens ranging from 6th-12th grade to better understand their favorite apps, financial habits, and their preferred ways of learning. Participants also ranked popular apps in the market and their top 3 were collectively described as; social, easy, fun, expressive, useful, and informative.

    Project ChangeI co-led Brand Creative for a hardware & software product that would transform the way people connect with their money, created as the first lifestyle fashion product by a financial institution. I developed a range of packaging prototypes and logistics, designed the logomark (provided direction for the logotype), outlined a strategic approach for partnerships, and developed concepts for web & store design.

  • Interactive Mural
    Interactive MuralFor SXSW ‘17 we created a touch capacitive wall to spotlight Capital One products in a subtle & playful way by incorporating the unique culture of Austin, Texas into a mural. Custom animations and sound effects were activated when guests touched the glowing hotspots. This piece was featured on Snapchat's SXSW feed and reached over 18,000 views.
  • 300 Grant
    300 GrantI designed and built a pop up space framed as a research event in the heart of San Francisco's financial district. Instead of selling a product, we decided to test a product. This space made giving feedback fun and interactive.
  • UMD Tech Incubator
    UMD Tech IncubatorThe incubator is a machine learning innovation hub at the center of the University of Maryland campus. It will be home to a handful of associates and 20-30 student interns per semester to work on Capital One business initiatives and drive research innovation. In collaboration with Capital One’s Center for Machine Learning and Workplace Solutions, I designed the look and feel of the space, logo animation, and a feature wall - an interactive element anchoring the space that merges data visualizati
