About me
Matteo Fogale, born in Montevideo (Uruguay) moved to Italy in 2001 where he studied Industrial Design at IUAV University of Venice. After graduating he worked on a variety of projects, from high-end furniture, industrial product design and bespoke commissions pieces with studios like Patricia Urquiola, Nichetto and Partners, BarberOsgerby and MAP Project Office. In 2013 he established brose~fogale producing bespoke furniture and accessories led by a design approach that considers honest and premium materials, functionality and longevity of the product. Currently Matteo is a partner-founder of De Allegri and Fogale a design consultancy working across disciplines and industries on a variety of projects from industrial products, bespoke commissions, interiors and installations combining deep understanding of materials and making techniques as well as patterns, textures and colours.
