About me
A highly adaptable, proactive and driven candidate with the aspiration to exercise my analytical and collaborative skill set in order to contribute to the development and brand image of fashion and aesthetic brands. I have an economic background which I hope to use to contribute to the fashion industry, which I am highly knowledgeable about and have a keen interest in. In spite of my experience and background being heavily economic, I have always had a strong interest in popular culture, namely fashion & beauty, and have exercised my creativity through garment design and fashion media consumption. I have explored content from ready to wear to couture, from fast fashion to atelier fashion houses. I have a profound knowledge of not only the western/European fashion Industry, but also ethnic styles and traditional fabrics and designs - particularly in Africa, through independent research and self taught skills. In addition I enjoy learning of the inner workings of fashion administration and production and hope to raise awareness within the industry on causes which are very dear to me - such as diversity and inclusion in all regards, as well as sexual assault and harassment. Although I do not have working experience in the fashion as previously mentioned,I am a fast learner, very collaborative and ready to put in all the effort necessary to be impactful in my role and know that my passion and genuine love of fashion will be conducive to my progression within the industry.

    • In this role I process timesheets and invoice clients for staffing services provided. • Ensuring that our clients are billed correctly and pay their balances by the due date. • I communicate regularly and efficiently with clients ranging from event organisers to stadium and arena managers, regarding staffing needs for their events. • I also work in operations; recruiting agency staff to work shifts for clients’ events. • My other business responsibility is to supply replacement staff to clients when our staff are unable to fulfil their shifts. Depending on the venue and skill set, I have to find suitable alternative staffing for the event.
