About me

Hello! I'm a scriptwriter with 25 years' experience. Now, starting out as a director with my first feature film Markham, due for release in 2020. Markham is a low budget, indie, rubber reality horror movie. It was shot in Staithes, Leeds and Whitby. As a script writer I've been Royal Television Society nominated and BAFTA shortlisted. Credits include EastEnders/Emmerdale/Hollyoaks/Family Affairs and a few feature films.

Writer and storyline writer on Channel 4 soap - Hollyoaks. Part of the team brought in to revolutionise the soap under producer Bryan Kirkwood. Viewing figures went from under one million to over three million during my time on the show and the show won the best soap at 2006 UK Soap Awards.
