I have been working as a bar manager for a few months. In this role I have had to manage a team to ensure that service is up to customers expectations, meet targets laid out by the GM and adapt to stressful and fast paced situations.
A part of my role is to ensure that I have enough stock to see my colleagues and I through the week/weekend, by regularly placing orders and dealing with deliveries.

Whilst working for BBC Introducing LIVE! I had the great pleasure of greeting guest speakers and leading them to and from the green room, ensuring they were at their panels for their presentations on time.
It was also my job to look after the guests and make sure they were comfortable during their day. I was around many famous faces throughout the day and it was important for myself to maintain a professional manor at all times.

This course taught me about hows songs are structured and arranged, how to produce music, how to recognise different types of Publishing and Recording contracts. As well as how royalties work, and how to research into popular genres to find what makes them successful.
