About me
Hi there! My name is Matthew James Tebbutt, I have just recently achieved a first class animation degree at Norwich University of The Arts and I am dedicated and committed to bringing the knowledge I have learnt to an available opportunity in the animation/film industry.
I have specialized in 3D animation and modelling but also have an equal interest in lighting, rigging and texturing in which I regularly use software as Maya to produce projects. Throughout my years in university I have learnt how to work productively as a group, working together to produce projects to tight deadlines and communicate ideas successfully.
I feel that I would be a great match for the animation industry with my enthusiasm, innovation solutions and passion for film and games. I believe I would be a great asset to a company. I am a dedicated and fast animator with a passion for creating stories through moving pictures and sound. I’m always striving to learn something new and in animation there is always something to learn.
Projects
- Courage"Courage" is a side project I am currenlty working on, it tells the story of a timid and anxious young boy secluded within his own room, desperately wanting to go outside and play with the other children. Through the influence of a hometown superhero he is able to escape his fears and insecurities by taking on a courageous persona.
- Mustard TV Ident - "Canary"As a live project brief for university I produced the television sting for local TV station "Mustard TV", broadcast late 2015 and on wards. My duties involved creating the assets, textures of the scene and animating. I worked alongside director Austen Nuttall and animator Fergal Sparrow. Mustard TV loved our animation so much, they chose to brostcast and use it on their channel. Before the debut of the new ident, they invited myself and my group on the 15th of May 2015 to an interview about how the project was created..
