    Cloud-based customer intelligence platform that allows companies to build engaged communities of customers – I was pleased to have the chance to move into a pure BD/Sales role, here. Responsibilities include:  Developing opportunities within my sectors: Sport, Technology, Financial Services, Travel and Tourism (EMEA).  Acting as a strategic member of the London sales team, identifying and creating qualified sales opportunities.  Working alone and with the BD Managers to build sales pipeline – bringing my own lead ideas, following up on theirs.  Creating targeted email campaigns, conducting careful research to inject relevant quotes and references into these.  Planning follow up call content and making time for these.  Preparing and giving presentations and demonstrations (on the phone and in person).  Supporting in revenue building next steps, e.g. research and more complex presentation work for pitches, etc.  Using social channels to build relationships with people – events, social media, personalised emails, calls, etc.  Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products and services, competitors and industry trends.  Being willing to try new ideas to use as touch points, e.g. video messages, information pack drops, etc.  Seeking opportunities to work collaboratively, which I do both across London and with our other European offices.  Demonstrating a positive, driven and self-motivated attitude, even when given challenging accounts to break into.
