Mattia Giussani is an independent curator, write and researcher based in London. After graduating in BA Photography at Camberwell College of Arts in 2015, he graduated in MFA Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2017. His research has strong interest in the relationship between digital technologies, social changes and the response of art to these challenges. Recently he’s researching within the Posthuman field, and using it as a navigation tool within different theories, especially in relation between art, computational culture, technology and new media. Recent artistic and curatorial projects include Future Fictions at Assembly Point (London, Sep/Oct 2017), Non Standard at T-Space (Milan, June/July 2017, IT); We are having a great time at Rockelmann & (Berlin, 2016, DE); 9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering Revisited 1966/2016 at Arts Catalyst (London, UK, 2016); Into The Fold at Camberwell College of Arts (London, UK, 2016); USE/USER/USED at Zabludowicz Collection (London, 2016, UK); ICA Student Forum (London, 2015-2016, UK).

Exhibition and Event Management
o Arrange exhibition and art fair shipping, including packaging, customs, and condition checking
o Decide programme timetable, coordinating the transition from one exhibition to the next
o Maintain, install, and de-install gallery AV equipment
o Manage private venue hires for outside clients
o Deliver sold artwork and provide aftercare to clients
o Arrange the touring of selected exhibitions
o Work alongside gallery technicians during exhibition installation and de-installation
Art Fairs, Collaborations, & External Exhibitions
o Draft and submit art fair applications
o Negotiate consignment agreements with loaning galleries and institutions
o Liaise with and assist other galleries exhibiting our artists
o Initiate and maintain collaborations between Pi Artworks London and outside organisations
Venue and Office Management
o Liaise with landlord, maintain two floor venue, oversee work by contractors
o Maintain digital filing system
o First point of contact for all gallery visitors
o Liaise between director and curators, exhibiting artists, art fair staff, and institutions resolving conflicts when necessary
