Projects
- Radio PresentingI became passionate about presenting during university and gained experience in the field through doing nearly 4 years of volunteering across two radio stations. Throughout 2020-2023 I hosted a few slots on Glitterbeam Radio (UK) before becoming their weekday breakfast show presenter. 2023-2024 I travelled to New Zealand. To stay active in radio I produced and presented my weekly show 'Keep It Camp' on PlainsFM.
- The Podcasting Playbook - Educational Resource & Podcast AdventureCreated on behalf of the Greater Christchurch Schools' Network (GCSN) for their involvement in the 'Top of the Pods' competition. The Podcasting Playbook is a web resource accompanied by a complete educational podcast where listeners travel through a variety of immersive soundscapes while learning skills to create their own podcasts.
- Tales of Torment - Graphic AudioA fantasy audio drama where the classic fairytales: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood and Pinocchio are reimagined through a mature, dark, queer lens. This audio drama serves to represent the identities of an LGBT+ audience that did not see themselves in the tales that they grew up with. Tales of Torment brings an updated twist to these tales to keep them fresh and exciting while remaining true to the key aspects of the stories.
