About me
Maud Goldberg is a designer, sculptor and photographer with over a decade experience in creative practice and research. She has exhibited in the UK and after a first set of postgraduate research she contemplated but refused a PhD offer from the Leeds School of Art, Architecture and Design. Maud missed the power and impact of making on full-time basis. Her practical work fundamentally changed the way she and the people who came in contact with it operated with the world. She believes in challenging modes of thoughts and the way we perceive ourselves and the world, to live love and work more freely and happily. The way she goes about doing exactly that is with her practice. Maud wanted to take her work further to impact a wider people. So, she turned her full focus again to making. As a result and with her aim in mind Maud set up as freelance designer and founded maudgoldberg design studio. Her work currently concentrates on the use of photography and sculpture to create a collective of connective and connected surface pattern designs for a range of materials and products.
