About me

Max is a director with a love of the surreality of everyday life. His largest short THYME, was shot on 16mm and won Best Student Short at the West Virginia FILMMakers Festival. The short also screened across the globe at various other festivals. Earlier shorts of his have also played at many film festivals including the London Short Film Festival. His most recent and self-funded/produced short WOODS has also been popular online featuring on 1.4 and being the Daily Pick on Film Shortage.

Milo Valaska certainly didn’t, so they've decided to restore her uniqueness. Created as part of the Straight8 2019 Competition. Was shortlisted as part of the Top 20 London Premiere Screening. • Winning MargeSHORT (5mins) 2017 It's Sophie and Gary's four-month anniversary, and it's about to go down. Expect fireworks, literal and emotional, in this comedy short, starring Freya Mavor (Skins), Natalie Simpson (Outlander) and John MacCormick. My Role: Director / Writer / Designer
