About me
I have experience in Sales, Healthcare Administration & in the A&R department for the Leicester-based distribution company Horus Music, as well as five years experience working in the music industry as an artist.
I have a natural love of music, and as part of my Music Production degree I have studied topics such as Video & Multimedia Production, Audio Theory, Music Production, Music Technology, Contemporary Music History, Sound and Music For Games, Audio Post-Production, Music Business, and Acoustics.
As an artist, I have released music under two record labels, and I am currently signed to a label based in New York (Good Eye Records), and a publishing company from Los Angeles (Castle Peak Music). My music has been featured in shows for CBS & Netflix, and I have negotiated publishing deals, record deals, and sync placements for myself all independently, based on music I have mixed, mastered and recorded.
Apart from music my hobbies include photography, gaming, cooking vegan food, football, and just before the pandemic I was getting into surfing. Two cancelled holidays and a sad, dry, unused wetsuit later, the surfing has been temporarily substituted for pretty shaky attempts at long boarding.

I am just finishing (May 13th) my 3 year BA in Music Production at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute; my course involved developing knowledge in topics related to and including music technology, production & business.
I have seven years experience using Logic, and having done the majority of my degree assignments using it, I know the software like the back of my hand. I have also created my own music videos & university presentations using Final Cut Pro. I studied Video and Multimedia Production as well and have confidence in video editing. Pro Tools was the DAW of choice when I was working in the studio at Brighton Electric. In Sound and Music for Moving Image in my second year, I also was taught how to work to a brief, and how to best fulfill client expectations, as well as the psychology of sonic branding and how it relates to idents and advertising.
