About me
I'm a photographer from Buckinghamshire.
My practice doesn’t have one distinctive style. But I go back to Landscape and travel photography a lot. I’m interested in different places and the makeup of them. I love taking pictures in different cities, parks, and as a whole, locations that excite me. I’m also interested in events including gigs as well as protests, both of which I have taken pictures of before. Previously I’ve done a commission for Citizens UK for a community issue and would love to do more work that is similar and the idea of art making a difference has always intrigued me.
Projects
- Nomophobia photosPhotos inspired by the idea of the fact that we have easy access to things like taking pictures on mobile phones. Objects used are my regular and a burner phone that I use for emergencies. Photos are shot in a studio and at home. Some of them are live camera feeds, others are photos that I took prior then showed on one of the phones.
- NomophobiaVideo about someone who spends time alone and a lot of time on technology. The title of the video is an acronym for no mobile phone phobia. I created the sound in the video by recording text notification sounds on my phone. All of the sound that's created is those notifications except for a shot at the end in which the sound is created using a sound from the premiere pro sound library.
