“I’ve been around. Traveled a lot and worked in several countries, met some awesome people and broke a few bones along the way.”
Over the last 18 years, Max Chanan has worked as a creative in Brazil, The Netherlands, England, Canada, USA, Japan and China, accumulating 8 Cannes Awards including a gran prix in film, 6 D&AD Pencils and several other awards.
He has a degree in Industrial Design at Arts and Crafts University, São Paulo, and has studied at The London Film School and FOTOFactory, Amsterdam.
In his spare time he dedicates himself to writing and directing short films, analog photography and traveling. He's also a keen snowboarder and goalkeeper,
And a lover of live music, and writing about himself in the third person.

- Up On the Roof PostersThese posters were commissioned to celebrate the Up on The Roof Film festival, with a 30s Art Deco Style the posters are a nod to the history of the festival Venue. A London Grade II listed building. In order to get this unique style a bespoke font was made, the Streamline 29 font is inspired by the stripped-down Art Deco movement called Streamline Moderne and was specifically made to the Up on The Roof Film Festival, communication and signage.
