I am an innovative and creative designer of bold unique printed textiles, a pattern maker at heart with a twist. I am passionate about incorporating hand drawn elements into my work which in turn builds up from my digital prints transforming my imageries into
beautiful fashion and interior prints. .My designs can mix and match contrasting patterns and I strive to create energetic, colourful textiles that are a mixture of classic and contemporary design.My passion are for colours and illustrations
combined with my love of fashion and soft furnishing I think brings a
sense of simplicity and nostalgia to my work.
My designs have been showcased and sold through trend casting
companies such as, Olympia, Indigo and Interstoff.
I try to use traditional, contemporary and digital printing techniques .
Coming from an exotic family background I get my inspiration from
that, as well as the natural, simple naïve forms which I translate
into lines of funky, bold and graphic surface design. Although classic
in style I try to use a range of mediums that brings intensity and
visual depth.
I never stop absorbing ideas from the world around me even if I'm not
consciously aware of it at the time, I don't really follow trends as
such, and I'm not in the business of reinventing myself to be this
year's sensation. I just trust my instincts and have a strong sense of
what I like, allowing my designs to change and evolve.
