I am very attracted to things that I can’t define. Inspired by futurism, Latino Quinceañera parties and 70s disco, with a skewed version of what we think is our reality; are the areas I am currently researching in my work. I am also obsessed with fabrics and colour, researching and developing my own through the fusing of technical fibres with more traditional fabrics, exploring the possibilities of two opposites working. My drawings, paintings and collages form the basis of my print research, along with referencing the graphics from the Paradise Garage in New York, along with laser colour stories. I am originally from Poland and knew that studying fashion in the UK would allow me the space and time to grow creatively as an individual and my BA (Hons) Fashion course at Bucks New University has provided me with that. I was shortlisted for the Jigsaw/BFC competition (2016) and have took part in a variety of collaborative exhibitions and workshops both in London and in Poland. These experiences have taught be a lot about working for and with people and how to utilise and showcase my skills.
