I am Mayte and I graduated as an Allround Stylist at the Akademie Vogue. I have done a career switch and followed my interests and intuition to do what I really like: being creative. As a stylist I am looking for an interesting and versatile job in which I can use my skills, enthusiasm and motivation. I am a hard worker with excellent attention to detail and big imagination! - Back to FutureThis concept is inspired in fashion that has a futuristic vibe with a sporty touch. I inspired myself in the futuristic clothes that were used in the series “Star Trek” from the 70’s. With that I created a concept called “Back to future” and an editorial for men called “Out of other age” which is a reflection of the old clothes on the new era. I was the creative director for this project. I did the styling, created the concept and the set design. The photos and the retouching work has been done
- Don’t shoot the messengerThe thought behind this editorial is to promote the trend of the text on t-shirts and encourage the young generation to be more conscious and united. I was the photographer and the stylist on a weekly basis for a vintage furniture shop in Amsterdam called ‘Uit the Schuur’. The shop made new furniture weekly. I styled the furniture, made the pictures, as well as retouched them to be ready to publish at the website of Uit the Schuur every week.
