- Friends RoastA Friends’ Roast is a series of structured interviews that we edit into a bantering ‘roast’ of the guest of honour. In preparation, we develop and tailor a set questions for the subject of the Friends’ Roast. We then set up a camera in a location or three, invite friends along, and let the fun begin. The result is mickey-taking at its best.
- Film du JourThe key to this film is the obscurity of the camera. It’s a tiny DSLR. We’ve found adults and children alike are relaxed and natural with stills cameras. You barely notice the camera. Then, just plan some sort of journey for the narrative. It can be a day at the park, a visit to grandma’s, or sky-diving from a helicopter onto double-black diamonds!
- Cine film voice overOnce your Cine film is converted, bring it to life. Usually, there’s no native audio. We recommend having the first screening of your digital cine film recorded at our studio. We can then mix in the commentary with music from the era, creating a far more evocative piece. If it’s particularly powerful material, you may want to consider some other ideas to help the narrative. The goal should be to make something the grandchildren can show their children and truly value.
