About me
I am a Creative. I thrive working on projects. I grow learning from others. I find inspiration in all things.
Previously, as a pastry chef, I dipped my toes into design. Now I am immersed. My extensive culinary background allows me to be efficient and inventive as a food stylist; and my background in hospitality management educated me on how to handle any client, as both a food stylist and graphic designer.
Since leaving the hotel industry, I developed my technical design skills in The Adobe Creative Cloud and completed Amazon listing projects, logo designs, brand kits and packaging designs. Additionally I honed my skills as a food Stylist working with BBC Good Food, Weight Watchers, Schwartz, Hellman's and PureVia on a variety of photoshoots and commercial sets.
Projects
- Pacific Calm Brand KitPacific Calm is a health and wellness centre focused on women. The Brand Kit and logo design focused on inspiration from their location on the west coast, as well as incorporating elements of strength, balance, peace and femininity. This logo can stand alone on merchandise, and be incorporated with both their tag line and company name. The colour scheme is peaceful and inviting evoking thoughts of sand and the sea.
- Amazon Listing Image SetThe Big Bakes is launching a homeware and bakeware line on Amazon. This project consisted of product photography, lifestyle photography, food styling, image editing in Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator, creation of infographics and package design for shipping boxes. Overall it was a large endeavour, requiring multiple skill sets, which allowed me to expand my understanding of how all design elements interact with one another.
