About me
I am a designer, innovator and conceptual thinker, with 6 years experience in both print and digital design. I primarily work across packaging design, social media content, and brand campaigns and specialise in the Retail, Hospitality and F&B sectors. I have an outstanding eye for detail, always thinking outside the box and am not afraid to learn new skills and experience new things in order to push my creative ideas forward. I believe that in order to be successful you have to be truly passionate about the projects you are involved with and relish working as part of a successful team. My tenacious attitude to life not only allows me to remain focused but provides me with a platform to succeed.     Leading a team of designers to create content across both the Eccomerce and Retail sides of the business. I am responsible for managing all aspects of the design process from the conceptual development to the designing and implementation of all creative across both digital and print. I manage workload across the design team often balancing multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines and high targets. I also run, manage and direct both photography and video shoots and brief external food stylists, photographers and videographers. A part of my role is to maintain brand consistency to an exceptional standard and regularly review and develop content so that it is reflective of the brand beliefs and guidelines at all times. I work closely and collaborate with internal management teams in order to deliver designs that are compelling and customer focused whilst coinciding with marketing and growth objectives. I collaborate on user-interface design (mobile first, and app), ensuring regular user testing days are held to gain essential data. The analysis of this data is then used to drive future UI/UX design and business goals to constantly increase engagement, awareness, traffic and conversion. Alongside this, I work with marketing to create and implement creative campaigns, email trends and social media content creation. My role in print is predominately focused in packaging design. We are now stocked in over 2000 supermarket stores and I have seen the designs of all products from concept through to delivery. I’m also involved with the design of marketing collateral which includes but is not limited to, vouchers, informative booklets, leaflets, POS and retail shippers. I have excellent knowledge of artworking collateral, print processes and finishes and am confident in liaising with external printers. I also manage manufacturing guidelines and legal legislation that is a necessity and an important consideration when designing F&B packaging.

    Building on creative responsibilities as a Content Creative and Designer across both digital and print platforms I was responsible for designing creative to be featured across all of the brands’ platforms. This included but was not limited to; in-store POS, retail packaging, campaign execution, event organisation, digital asset creation (mobile and web), UI/UX design, art direction, video editing and storyboarding, email marketing, print collateral, and social media content generation (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter & Ads Manager). My role was primarily managing the concept development and creation, working closely with brand, trade and ecommerce teams to maintain and develop continuity across all areas of the business ensuring a seamless multi-channel experience. I successfully trained interns junior designers in design techniques and effectively communicated and liaised with agencies, influencers and businesses across the UK and Europe. I was also responsible for producing bespoke graphics, illustration and video content to support online categories on the Paperchase site (mobile first design), across the UK, Europe and the US. With my combined knowledge of retail and digital design, part of my role was to work with junior designers and traders to improve the online presence. I was able to collect research and implement the relevant findings to improve user experience, conversion rates and drive traffic successfully. I also worked within this team, using my problem solving skills to identify key areas for further improvement and design implementation.
